Welcome! I am Dr. Samira Saleh, PhD, LPC-S.
Mental health doesn't exist separately from the rest of your life. Your faith, family, culture, relationships, identity, and personal experiences can all shape how you experience emotional challenges.

The teenage years can bring challenges with self-esteem, friendships, family relationships, identity, and emotional well-being. Counseling offers teenage girls a safe, supportive space to express themselves, work through difficulties, and develop healthy coping skills.

Life can bring challenges related to relationships, identity, faith, education, career decisions, and personal growth. I provide a supportive space for Muslim women, including reverts, to navigate life’s challenges, strengthen self-understanding, and work toward meaningful change.

Motherhood can be rewarding, but balancing parenting, family responsibilities, relationships, and your own needs can sometimes feel overwhelming. Counseling offers moms a space to process their experiences, establish boundaries, and care for their emotional well-being while navigating the demands of motherhood.
Dr. Samira Saleh
I’m Dr. Samira Saleh, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and over ten years of experience in the mental health field.
My approach to counseling is rooted in creating a welcoming, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood without judgment. I understand that navigating relationships, family expectations, identity, and life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, and you don't have to figure everything out on your own.
I’m here to help you better understand yourself, work through challenges, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your needs and values.

I provide virtual counseling for teenage girls, women, and moms in Missouri, Michigan, and Florida. While I have a particular understanding of the experiences of Muslim women and girls, I welcome clients from all backgrounds.

I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, identity concerns, family stress, and life transitions. We will work together to understand your concerns and identify ways to move forward.

All counseling sessions are provided virtually through a secure video platform, allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

My standard fee is $175 per 45–50-minute session. I also offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on availability. I do not accept insurance, but I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. FSA and HSA cards are accepted.
